Hi, I’m Jaz! I’ve journeyed from substance use to a life filled with purpose and fulfillment, and now I’m passionate about helping teens and adults discover their own paths to hope, recovery, and purpose.
Growing up in a strict religious home, I rebelled by turning to drugs, alcohol, and risky behavior as a way to assert my independence. Despite these challenges, my love for learning remained a constant. I earned an academic scholarship to Pepperdine University, but life took an unexpected turn when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After her passing, I left college to cope with the loss.
As time passed, I found myself becoming more involved in my dad’s church, where I began mentoring young people. I understood their struggles because I had faced them myself.
Eventually, I completed my education, graduating from college and seminary. Today, I am a certified Christian Life Coach, Life Recovery Coach, and hold certifications in teen mental health and wellness.
